Three Hills announces new investment into specialist Leadership Advisory & Analytics firm LCap Group

Three Hills (or “the Firm”) is pleased to announce its latest investment in LCap Group Limited (“LCap Group” or “the Company”), a specialist Leadership Advisory & Analytics firm that focuses on high-growth companies and private equity-backed businesses, as well as supporting private credit and equity houses directly. Three Hills has invested £32.5 million to support LCap Group’s active M&A strategy, which will allow the business to continue its expansion plan. This transaction sees Three Hills partner with an experienced management team that has been instrumental in the Company’s success since 2003. Furthermore, this represents Three Hills’ sixth transaction from Three Hills Capital Solutions IV (“THCS IV”) in just 14 months since it closed in October 2022.

Established in 2003 and headquartered in London, LCap Group has earned a strong reputation in the PE sector, boasting an extensive client base of reputable funds, and benefits from a substantial addressable market in executive search. The Company goes to market under distinct brands across their three core capabilities of Leadership; Insights, Change and Development, enabled by their proprietary analytics platform:

Drax is the Company’s founding brand, which provides search, consulting, insights and data analytics services, pre and post deal with a strong track record of placing C-Suite executives within PE-backed portfolio companies.

Rowan was acquired in 2021 and provides search services for other founder-owned and early-stage high- growth companies, focusing on future leaders as well as C-suite, widening the group’s addressable market.

Altus was recently acquired in June 2023, and provides recruitment services for the private credit and equity industries, as well as M&A directors for PE-backed portfolio companies.

Three Hills views the investment in LCap Group as an opportunity to back a prominent player in a specialised market focused on supporting rapidly growing companies. The Company has worked hard to broaden its offering to diversify versus its competitors by developing a proprietary technology that allows for additional business services in Data Insight and Consulting.
